CSA Sports Combines - Softball

| CSA will be conducting an elite College Softball Combine/Showcase at Worthy Park in Huntington Beach (CA) on October 15th. This is a skills-testing combine, not a tournament of games. |
The 2005 CSA-PrepStar Elite Softball combine is not for everyone. We are looking for the following athletes whose previous experience leads them to believe that they have the proper athletic ability, academics, motivation and desire to play on the next level:
High school seniors (Class of 2006) High school juniors (Class of 2007) High school sophomores (Class of 2008) |
| We have sent registration forms to over 3,000 of the top returning seniors, juniors and sophomores for the Class of 2006. However, our combine will be limited to 240 participants, and we will select our participants on a first-come, first-serve basis. The CSA combine will occur during an NCAA contact/evaluation period on Saturday, October 15th, and college coaches will be invited to attend. |
| During a break in each session, the National Scouting Director for Collegiate Sports of America, Mr. Bill Harrison, will be providing a free college-recruiting seminar that both you and your parents/guardians will not want to miss. The CSA seminar will cover important topics such as NCAA academic requirements and how to best plan and prepare for college as a scholarship prospect. |

The deadline to register is Wednesday, October 7th. We must receive your registration by this date as we will not be accepting any walk-up registration on the day of the combine. Please download, complete and return to us both of the following registration forms:

| The CSA combine will be organized into two sessions as shown below. Our combine will include testing for speed (home-to-first), hitting, and defensive skills. Here are the check-in times and start-times for each position group: |

| All athletes attending the CSA softball combine will receive an official CSA combine shirt that you will use during the event. All testing data from our combine will be posted on the CSA-PrepStar website and each athlete will receive a mini player-profile along with their testing data. This information will be made available to college coaches as well as the parents and athletes that attend our event. |
