Bart Johnson enters his senior year at Brownwood High School in 2005 as one of the top football prospects from around the southwest. Because of Bart's 2004 performance he has earned a spot on the west squad for the All-American Bowl to be played on January 5, 2006 (Location TBD). Additionally, Bart has been nominated as a 2005 PrepStar Magazine All-Region candidate, traditionally reserved for the top college prospects from around the nation. Bart has all the tools that any college coach looks for in a top prospect for their program. First, Bart has a phenomenal amount of athletic ability coupled with excellent speed, strength & quickness. Next, Bart has a superior academic record and he realizes that getting his work done in the classroom is first and foremost. And finally, Bart has a tireless work-ethic and he continues to work hard during the off-season in order to improve his already impressive skills. Brownwood High School Head Football Coach, Steve Freeman, has said that " Bart Johnson has the best set of hands that I have ever seen in my 20 years of coaching." This is truly a great indication of the type of respect Bart has earned from the coaching staff at Brownwood High School. Make no mistake about it, Bart Johnson has his sights set on competing at the next level, and he is extremely determined to continue working hard toward that goal.1
