Skills & Attributes

Former DI Kicker (and Seattle Seahawk), Jamie Kohl, said that " Travis Baltz just won the award for Most Valuable Kicker/Punter at our National DI Scholarship Camp. Travis a kicker/punter who can also kickoff at the DI level. Travis is a big, strong athlete who is very competitive. Last season, as a junior in high school, he averaged 42 yards a punt. His best Punts at camp were 47/4.63, 56/4.53, 56/4.56, 55/4.63. His best kickoffs were 73/3.90 and 70/4.07. Travis is already being looked at by several DI schools and, without a doubt, he will make an impact at the next level." National Scouting Director for PrepStar Magazine, Bill Harrison, said that "Travis is the real deal. He has the leg strength, the accuracy and the work-ethic to become a big-time punter/kicker at the next level. Even more impressive about Travis is the character and leadership he displays amongst his peers. When you have a chance to speak with Travis it will be easy for you to see that he is extremely dedicated to becoming the best player he can be. Travis is an extremely focused student-athlete, and it shows in the results that he obtains." 1
